Best Place to die... a lot...
I need to burn some candy DP removers, anyone know a good place where I can get spawn raped a lot in NM. Preferably somewhere me and a hero can run to easy.
Tried the shrine outside emberlight, the patrols would walk away. Tried watchtower coast where mina the obscene is, same deal, they can wander down the hill. I know theres places like this cause I've had vanquish runs ruined.... but now that I need them I can't think of any... |

The best place to die is in your HoM. Bring Blood is Power on yourself and 2 Heroes with only UA. You only get DP if you use a skill before dying, so Blood is Power is perfect for getting DP on yourself and letting the Heroes res you immediately. This is much faster than waiting for the res shrines to reurrect you.

Arborstone
If you're luxon, Arborstone might be good place for this
Get to the area from Altrumm Ruins. Next, head to the direction where Craw Stonereap is, and let the first warden group you encounter kill you. You'll be resurrected in a non-luxon-only shrine far away from the entrance. If you keep standing there, a group of warden will come there, and kill you. You'll be resurrected in the very same shrine and they'll kill you again. And again, and again.. As long as you like! Last edited by Fundor; Mar 02, 2011 at 12:53 PM // 12:53.. Reason: Fixed a word: I had mistakenly typed "non-kurzick-only" instead of "non-luxon-only". |

I'd still suggest ember light camp, jut make sure to aggro the GOLEMS. Their minions that they summon will almost guarantee that they don't leave before you res.

2 Heroes: 1 Monk, 1 Mesmer.
Monk maintains +3 mending on Mesmer. Mesmer has 40/40 resto set and 12 in resto, 12 in fast casting (add runes if you want) Walk away from the monk, and start killing yourself with BiP. Use regular armour, with regular HP level. This is the fastest way to burn Candy Canes. Why? You kill yourself with 1 BiP . This is because Mending is maintaining the mesmer's health at about 80/90 HP. UA Imo is useless because you get resurrected with full health, which means even though you're being ressed fast, you still need to BiP 3/4 times to kill yourself. My way wins. 1 stack of candy canes in 13 minutes. Last edited by Fate Crusher; Jan 21, 2011 at 04:52 PM // 16:52.. |

FomF sac's half his current HP, so he probably won't be able to kill himself and will and up with less and less HP (meaning you'll be rezzed with less hp and thus can kill yourself faster) |

Here's how I burned through many stacks of DP remover recently:
Take Grab a Mesmer hero and a monk hero (the monk hero is slightly optional, but speeds things up slightly). On the M/Rt: 12 fast casting. Skills: Flesh of my flesh. You could also take ether signet, but energy won't be a problem. On the Mo/Any: Options vary. Only skill is Succor, which you'll put on the mesmer. You could also take mending and blood ritual to aid the mesmer, but this is not needed. On your self: Blood is power (which you'll use to both sac and fuel the mesmer's energy). Go to any area where you can stay away from foes. Places like HoM or Zaishen menagerie work well. If you got to the menagerie, you can simultaneously death level pets if you wish... just remember to take a ranger hero along to cap the pet when you're done. 1) open your inventory 2) target the mesmer 3) put succor on the mesmer 4) hit BiP til you die. 5) watch the mesmer's skill cast on Flesh of my Flesh. As soon as the cast bar completes, hit BiP again. Don't wait for the resurrection animation, you'll be able to cast as soon as FomF is complete. 6) Repeat until you hit 60% DP. 7) Use DP removers 8) return to step 4. This works because FomF has no recharge. It costs the mesmer half his/her health, which will never actually kill them. I found that they sometimes don't use FomF if their health gets too low, which is why I added the monk to help counter the health loss. This works perfectly well without the monk though. Good hunting! |

Having same thing to do, and i found quite fast use 3 UA monks and Bip on yourself (as suggested more than once)....at the beginning of A Time for Heores, HM if you can.
Simply, flag your hero just out of the lava, and sac using Bip stepping in the lava. -7 health denegeration and random hit by the close destroyer(that can't move, so wont attack monks) will kill you pretty fast, even if you have to Bip twice at least. |

When I had to get through ~35 Stacks of Pumpkin Cookies I used 3x Mo/R heroes with UA and Serpent's Quickness and used BiP myself.
I found the best place to do it was in the Domain of Pain as the Dreadful Pain environmental effect here means that you'll take extra damage every time you use BiP, this reduces the number of times you need to use the skill from 4 to 3. Using this method I could do 1 stack of Cookies in 10 minutes. Last edited by Hobbs; Jan 20, 2011 at 05:25 PM // 17:25.. |

As everyone else said, 3 UA heroes and BiP on yourself. Equip a vampiric weapon, as this will take care of the 1% left over.
Has anyone else noticed that if you spam BiP constantly just before you are revived, and during it, then you will be able to cast it 3 times in quick succession when you are alive? It seems like it has no aftercast, or something.. |

Yeah, when I was doing it, i'd just constantly hit a bind that both ate cons and used BiP, pressing it even when I was dead, I noticed that occasionally i'd be ressed and die again virtually instantly. I never figured out exactly what triggered this.
